7 new players have been signed for Rangers but Warbuton wants to add more
Mark Warbuton is the current manager of Rangers as he was selected as the coach of the Scottish outfit back in June but despite having a low period of time in charge of Rangers, he has had a very busy time as Warbuton has signed 7 players during this summer transfer window and the 52 year old manager still has plans of adding a few more players to his team.
The first match of Warbuton as the coach of Rangers saw them claiming a comfortable 6-2 triumph over Hibernian as both sides competed in the Scottish Challenge Cup and Rangers won with ease. The 2nd match of Warbuton saw his team coming out on top with yet another comfortable triumph as Rangers won 3-0 over Peterhead.
Even with all of these impressive results and performances that Rangers have been displaying, Mark Warbuton still wants to build a better squad and this is why he has signed and added to his team 7 new players.
Rob Kiernan, Danny Wilson, Wes Foderingham, Andy Halliday, MartynWaghorn, James Tavernier and Jason Holt are all of the summer signings of Rangers but Warton still has a few more players in his watch-list.
“Rangers Football Club have to strengthen whenever possible, if we can add value at whatever stage of the season we have to do it and that is the challenge to the players to maintain their level and again if we can add quality to the coaching staff then we will always be looking”
Scott Allan of Hibernian is the next player that Mark Warbuton wants to sign but trying to sign the 23 year old midfielder is turning into a problem as the young player handed in a transfer request as he wants to leave Hibernian but the manager of the club Alan Stubbs does not want to sell Scott Allan to Rangers.
