I Hate Rangers

Rangers manager Ally McCoist has revealed that he has money to spend in the upcoming transfer window. The transfer embargo on Rangers was recently lifted and it allows the club to enter into the market to strengthen the squad significantly. Rangers have already utilise the loan market today benefit and have been able to win back-to-back promotions. The club may have underperformed in cup competitions in the last two years, but they are once again favourites to win the Scottish Championship and return to the Premier League after a three-year absence.

Rangers are looking to complete a deal involving Marius Zaliukas. Zaliukas has been on trial at Rangers for the last few weeks and McCoist has expressed his interest in retaining the player by offering a new contract. Not only do Rangers have the funds to sign the player, but the manager has also revealed that they can go after other players. Scottish international Don Cowie is set to be on the verge of leaving Cardiff City and he has been linked with a move to Rangers. Rangers have already brought in several big names like Kris Boyd and Kenny Miller over the last few weeks of the transfer window.

They will undoubtedly be important players ahead of the new campaign. “Marius has come up after being released by Leeds United and trained with us and we are going to have a chat.
Obviously we’ll have a look at the budget, I think there’s still a few quid knocking about in that budget and that will be put to the test in the next week or so. It’s our job to strengthen as much as we can. We have still got a but in the budget and we want to do that because it’s vitally important that the team get back to the top flight,” said McCoist.
