David de Gea might finally make a move to Real Madrid
Real Madrid has recently signed KikoCasillas for a transfer fee of €6 million and this goal-keeper was expected to be the man who was going to replace IkerCasillas who was sold to Porto.
However, if rumors are to be believed then David de Gea could be on the verge of making a move to Real Madrid as reports are claiming that Louis van Gaal has told the board of directors of Manchester United to sell David de Gea as he wants the Spanish goal-keeper out of Old Trafford.
Louis van Gaal signed Sergio Romero a few weeks ago on July 27th on a free transfer and this deal raised questions concerning which goal-keeper is going to be the main shot-stopper in the team of Louis van Gaal for the upcoming season as the Dutch manager has at his disposal the likes of: Victor Valdes, David de Gea and the recent signing Sergio Romero.
All of those 3 goal-keepers have enough talent to be regular starters in any club and Louis van Gaal has the chance to offload one of them in order to gain funds and sign another player who can reinforce another position in the club and rumors are suggesting that David de Gea is the one which is looking more likely to exit Old Trafford.
Sergio Romero went through an impressive campaign during the previous edition of the Copa America and quickly after that, the Argentine player was signed by Manchester United.
Even though Real Madrid secured the services of KikoCasilla, the Spanish outfit is still interested in signing David de Gea and if Louis van Gaal is indeed interested in offloading the young player, then this is Rafael Benitez’s chance of signing one of the most sought out players in the world of football.
